About the iPhone 13 Pro Max
The 6.7-inch Pro with ProMotion, a 3x telephoto and the longest battery life of the 2021 iPhones.
Everything in the iPhone 13 Pro, on a 6.7-inch ProMotion display with a much larger battery. Apple rated it for up to 28 hours of video playback, which made it the longest-lasting iPhone of its year. At 240 g it is also one of the heaviest.
Highlights
- Display: 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR (OLED) with ProMotion, up to 120 Hz.
- Chip: A15 Bionic with a 5-core GPU.
- Cameras: 12 MP Wide, Ultra Wide (with macro) and Telephoto (3x optical zoom), LiDAR Scanner, Cinematic mode, Apple ProRAW and ProRes video. 12 MP front camera.
- Battery: up to 28 hours of video playback when new.
- Build: Ceramic Shield front, matte glass back, stainless-steel frame. Rated IP68 when new (6 metres for up to 30 minutes).
Good to know
- ProRes: 4K ProRes recording needs 256 GB or more; the 128 GB model records it at 1080p.
- Charging: Lightning, MagSafe and Qi wireless pads.
- SIM: one nano-SIM and one eSIM.
- Water: seals age, and a repair can disturb them, so treat the water rating as protection from splashes and spills rather than a reason to take it swimming.
