Terms of sale
These are the terms on which kwamaj sells to you. They are subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, which gives you rights these terms cannot take away.
Draft — not yet reviewed by counsel.
This document is incomplete: passages marked in square brackets are facts the platform has not yet supplied, or questions that need a South African lawyer to answer. It is published here so it can be reviewed, not so it can be relied on.
Who you are buying from
You are buying from kwamaj (registration number 2026/866439/07). We are the merchant of record on every order. Items are supplied to us by vetted sellers, but your contract is with us — so if anything is wrong, there is one place to go, and it is us.
[to be confirmed by counsel] — VAT registration status is being confirmed. Prices shown are the price you pay.
Condition and grading
Every device is graded against a published standard, and the grade is recorded against your order at the moment you buy, so a later change to our catalogue cannot alter what you were sold.
If what arrives does not match its grade, that is our failure and we fund the return. See the returns policy.
Price and payment
The price you are charged is the price the platform calculates, not the price your browser displays — if those ever differ, we will not charge you more than was shown, and we will tell you.
Your money is held by us and only released to the seller seven days after delivery, once you have had a chance to check the item.
Delivery
We deliver across South Africa. Delivery timeframes are estimates. Risk passes to you on delivery, not on dispatch.
Your right to return
You have seven days from delivery to return an item for any reason, including changing your mind. This is in addition to your rights under the CPA, which are not limited by these terms. [to be confirmed by counsel] — the interaction with CPA section 56 and the six-month implied warranty is being confirmed by counsel.
